Many Australians would love to get into caravanning and enjoy the great lifestyle, holidays and travel opportunities owning a caravan provides. But many are held back or hold back from purchasing a van by not having a suitable towing vehicle, lack of storage when not in use, issues with towing abilities, and other situations. A new model campervan or motorhome may be the solution.
No towing vehicle, less hassle with somewhere to stay, easier to drive and manoeuvre, no need to necessarily stay and pay in parks, and much easier to store when not in use. Jade Caravan Finance assists buyers to simplify the caravanning experience with affordable finance on a new model campervan.
See the new model campervan at upcoming caravan shows in Canberra, Brisbane and Melbourne. Here’s a quick overview of some of the models on the market and information on how to finance a new motorhome or campervan.
New Model Campervan from Emu and Nova
A new campervan model has been released by EMU RV, built by Nova Caravans on a Fiat Ducato platform. The big attraction with this model is that it is a four berth. Many campers provide seating for four but typically only sleeping for two. This provides the additional sleeping facilities in a pop-top area. An option which may attract a lot more buyers, especially families, groups of mates, and couples.
Safety equipment includes airbags for both the driver and the passenger, ESC, blind spot monitoring, plus many other warning signals and sensors. The layout is designed for function but with style. Buyers can select from a range of options with cooking facilities, bed set-ups, and other inclusions. Being away from home doesn’t have to mean disconnecting. This model includes a range of connectivity with entertainment electronics.
The vehicle is a long wheel base configuration with 6.36 metres in length, a width of 2.5 metres and a height of 2.7 metres. The vehicle is powered with a turbo diesel 2.2 litre and has auto transmission.
With four berths and well-optioned interior, this may be the solution for getting you on the road and into the caravan lifestyle.
Go Off the Grid in Trakka’s New Model Campervan
Another new model recently unveiled and definitely worth inspecting is the MY25 Torino from Trakka. The company has announced the return of this model but as the latest generation and could be the ideal vehicle for travellers looking to stay off the grid for longer due to the advanced 48V electrical system.
Built on the Fiat Ducato, the Torino includes 460W solar power systems, 140 litre fresh water tank, 150 litre fridge/freezer and a dual induction cooktop which puts convenience into off-grid travelling. And yes, if you’re wondering, it does have a compact shower and toilet bathroom so using free camp sites and off the beaten track locations are a reality with this new model campervan.
With this model, Trakka has introduced contemporary colour schemes and design and offer buyers a choice of traditional monochrome, natural country living and an interior with a mid century appearance.
Definitely a complete home of wheels which will suit many buyers looking to enjoy the caravanning lifestyle without having to also invest in a suitable towing vehicle.
New Model Campervan Financing Options
It is a motor vehicle but also a recreational vehicle. Is a campervan financed with a car loan or a caravan loan? Good question. In the recreational vehicle lending market, campervans are considered a recreational vehicle and financed with caravan finance, not motor vehicle finance.
Buyers looking to finance a new model campervan would typically select a Secured Caravan Loan. With this straightforward format facility, the campervan is accepted as loan collateral and the borrower repays the loan in equal monthly repayments over a fixed finance term.
We secure this credit facility with a competitive fixed interest rate, so repayments remain unchanged over the term, for worry-free travelling. Buyers may be approved for no deposit financing, which may add an additional level of convenience to the purchase – no downpayment required.
Buyers planning to inspect and possibly order one of the latest campervans at an upcoming caravan show, can be organised by securing finance before the event. Finance applications can be approved prior to purchasing a RV, with an estimated loan amount and an indication of the type of RV being considered for purchase.
Pre-approved finance allows buyers to confidently proceed to place orders and select options and accessories to their approved borrowing limit. Rates, borrowing limits, terms and loan products are the same for pre and post-purchased finance.
