Best Caravan Parks 2024 – Finalists
The finalists in the 2024 Greatest Escapes competition include a great selection of places to visit. Many holidaymakers will be on a budget this summer. In the Best Budget Park category the finalists were Venus Bay Beach Park NSW, Nug Nug Reserve Victoria, Eight Mile Beach Park in Western Australia and the Big 4 Opal Park NSW.
Families can check out the finalists in that category with the BIG4’s Gold Coast and West Beach Park South Australia in contention. The Busselton WA’s Mandalay Holiday Resort and Victoria’s Bright Riverside Holiday Park also receive the finalist nod.
In the Couples Park category, finalists were NSW’s Tathra Beachfront Park, the Sea Vu in Robe South Australia, Western Australia’s Lake Argyle Holiday Park, and the Voyages Campground at Ayres Rock.
Many RV owners love to include their pets on the travels and votes for the best pet-friendly park have been tallied. Finalists include NRMA’s Forster Tuncurry, RAC’s Esperance WA, Tasmania’s Captain Cook holiday park and the Anglesea Family Park in Victoria.
Best Caravan Parks Winners
For 2024 the winners in the annual Greatest Escapes competition have been revealed. The Budget Holiday Park category was won by Eighty Mile Beach Caravan Park which is on the beachfront, between Broome and Port Hedland in Western Australia. An idyllic location and a park offering a great selection of amenities.
The Family Park category was taken out by the BIG4 park on the Gold Coast. A great location for families looking to enjoy a beach escape and take in the Queensland’s theme parks. The Couples Park category was won by the NRMA’s Tathra Beachfront Holiday Park on the NSW south coast. This park is right on the beach and is also pet-friendly.
The winner of the Pet Friendly Holiday Park category was NRMA’s Forster Tuncurry property. A waterfront location on the NSW mid-north coast, the park offers a great range of amenities and the region an amazing selection of sights and activities to explore.
The fifth category is the People’s Choice and that was won another NSW mid-north coast site – the Crescent Head Holiday Park. A popular destination for a wide range of holidaymakers and travellers, including surfers and nature lovers.
