Caravan and camping expos and shows are an excellent way to see the latest releases, compare your shortlist or wish list, update your knowledge base, share tips and hints with the experts and have a great day’s outing for the entire family.
For West Australians, the highlight of the expo calendar is the annual RAC Perth Caravan & Camping Show so mark the date in your diary now - Wednesday, 16th March to Sunday, 20th of March 2016, at Claremont Showgrounds.
Something for All Outdoor Enthusiasts
This massive show caters to caravans, campers, RVs and all outdoor enthusiasts in one display. With 48,000 visitors to the 2015 show – that’s proof that this show is not to be missed.
Organisers expect over 450 caravans to be displayed at the 2016 show, nearly 150 campers and as a result of feedback from 2015 show visitors, the display of tents is being expanded for 2016.
Show Highlights
While many will head to the show to inspect caravans and other vehicles for potential purchase, there are plenty of other attractions for everyone.
Equipment demonstrations are always popular, as are the cooking demos with plenty of recipe ideas to satisfy your appetite quickly and efficiently while away on a caravan or camping holiday.
An informative seminar programme is always a highlight of the Perth Show, and you should get your tickets early so as not to miss out on your choice.
Previous Shows have included sensational clinics and demonstrations on driver safety tips on towing and very helpful demos on topics such as getting your vehicle out when bogged.
Family Entertainment
The Perth show is designed for the whole family, with children under 16 admitted free when accompanied by an adult and plenty of activities to entertain them. Rock climbing and face painting are just some of the previous year’s entertainment plus great competitions in putting up tents with sensational prizes to be won.
